<p><strong>Introduction</strong> </p> <p>The nursery chair, a seemingly mundane object, plays a pivotal role in the early childhood environment. It serves as a central piece of furniture in nurseries, daycare centers, and homes, providing a dedicated space for caregivers to feed, soothe, and bond with infants. Despite its ubiquitous presence,  reclining nursery chairs for breastfeeding the design, functionality, and impact of nursery chairs have received limited attention in academic research. This observational study aims to explore the various aspects of nursery chairs, examining their design features, usability, and influence on caregiver-infant interactions.<br/><br/></p> <p><strong>Methodology</strong> </p> <p>This research employed a qualitative observational approach, utilizing a combination of direct observation, interviews, and document analysis. The study was conducted in three nursery settings: a home-based daycare, a community nursery, and a hospital-affiliated neonatal unit. A total of 20 nursery chairs were observed, representing different designs, materials, and price points. Observations were conducted over a period of 6 weeks, with each setting visited multiple times to ensure data saturation.<br/><br/></p> <p><strong>Data Collection</strong> </p> <p>Observational data were collected using a structured observation protocol, which included: </p> <ol><li><strong>Chair Design</strong>: Material, color, size, adjustability, and additional features (e.g., rocking, gliding, or reclining mechanisms).</li> <li><strong>Usability</strong>: Ease of use, comfort, and accessibility for caregivers of varying heights and body types.</li> <li><strong>Caregiver-Infant Interactions</strong>: Quality of interaction, duration of feeding or soothing sessions, and infant responsiveness.</li> <li><strong>Environmental Factors</strong>: Room layout, lighting, and noise levels, and their impact on chair usage.</li> </ol>Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 12 caregivers (parents, nursery staff, and healthcare professionals) to gather insights into their experiences with <a href="https://sehwajob.duckdns.org/bbs/board.php?bo_table=free&wr_id=541976">nursery chairs for breastfeeding moms</a> chairs.<br/><br/>Additionally, product manuals, marketing materials, and online reviews were analyzed to understand manufacturer claims and consumer perceptions. <p><strong>Results</strong> </p> <p><strong>Design Features</strong> </p> <p>The observed nursery chairs exhibited a wide range of design features, reflecting diverse preferences and needs.
